“I hate Islam”

In two months of interviews with 40 young people in five Iraqi cities, a pattern of disenchantment emerged, in which young Iraqis, both poor and middle class, blamed clerics for the violence and the restrictions that have narrowed their lives.

“I hate Islam and all the clerics because they limit our freedom every day and their instruction became heavy over us,” said Sara, a high school student in Basra. “Most of the girls in my high school hate that Islamic people control the authority because they don’t deserve to be rulers.”

Atheer, a 19-year-old from a poor, heavily Shiite neighborhood in southern Baghdad, said: “The religion men are liars. Young people don’t believe them. Guys my age are not interested in religion anymore.”

The shift in Iraq runs counter to trends of rising religious practice among young people across much of the Middle East, where religion has replaced nationalism as a unifying ideology.

While religious extremists are admired by a number of young people in other parts of the Arab world, Iraq offers a test case of what could happen when extremist theories are applied. Fingers caught in the act of smoking were broken. Long hair was cut and force-fed to its wearer. In that laboratory, disillusionment with Islamic leaders took hold.

It is far from clear whether the shift means a wholesale turn away from religion. A tremendous piety still predominates in the private lives of young Iraqis, and religious leaders, despite the increased skepticism, still wield tremendous power. Measuring religious adherence, furthermore, is a tricky business in Iraq, where access to cities and towns far from Baghdad is limited.

But a shift seems to be registering, at least anecdotally, in the choices some young Iraqis are making.

Hello my friends. Wish you well.
    What know about Islam?
Is it because some Muslims have committed heinous crimes imagine that Islam is a religion of murder (although that certainly did was prohibited in Islam). Is Forgotten bloody wars committed in the name of the church? Is Forgotten or church scandals instruments such as forgiveness? Does this mean that the Christian religion bloody? Of course not.
    Secondly Where identified Islam?
Many of the books that talk about Islam in the West by non-Muslims, like to ask the Portuguese for India ???!!!!
Do you know, for example, that Islam requires Muslims believe Jesus peace be upon him, who does not believe it is a kaafir !!!!!!!
Did you know that Muhammad was saying (will not enter Paradise will not even believe Thabwa not even believe you if you did something to Tahabpettm, you spread peace).
Did you know that Muhammad had to say (throwing Zmia not me) Zmia mean Christian or Jewish.
    My friends:
Islam does not judge by the actions of some, and you ask yourself why all this attack on Islam, according to Al-Hikma (more successfully increased your enemies) and already Valasla religions become more prevalent every day confined thousands. Are all these terrorists love blood.???

MY dear sisters and brothers, You can not blame ISLAM for bloody wars. we have to blame ours selfs whats sitution we are in.when ISLAM spread to shaam, Yemen and Indain sub-contianet it did spread a sword or bloody war and battles. It spread with love, humblness, honstey, sicerity and priousity. today we dotn have that.this was work of the great sufi who spread islam in world.

we also have have go back to sirah Rasullah (saw),quran, Hadiths and follow his example of rasullah (saw).

When rasullah (saw) departed from this world he left us 3 things:- Quran,Sunnah/Hadith and ahl bayet(hishouse hold)and said if you follow them you will not go wrong.

todays problems people are editing and mainplateing quran hadiths of rasullah (saw). Many who claim to be ahl bayet are not ahl bayet.

the few true sufi do who do exsited they live in Yemen Hardhwart valley Trim and may allah persave them. You should to go meet them see for yourself how muslim should be like.

    wa Hussain

It is okay, we opened the islamic books, we read the islamic sources we discovered what is islam all about.

    In koran:
91% of the times women are mentioned as inferior
5% as equal but only after they are dead before they are judged
4% they are mentioned as superior but only as mothers obediant to their husbands.
94% of the reasons to enter hell are for disbelieving/disobeying allah (poilitical reason)
6% is the reasons to enter hell is for moral or ethical failings.
Less then 2% is for doing good to other muslims.
Less then 1% is for doing good to humanity.
It contains absolutely no novel or progressive ideas.
Let me repeat this, koran contains absolutely no novel or progressive idea.
But the poetry is so pretty. I will ignore all the above just because the poetry is so awesome. Subhanalla. Nashkoroh Wa Nahmidoh. Wa narfa-a Tiazana Ila Al Sama-ee Bil Hamdi Wal Shokri.

I know what is on your mind after reading this Usman, you want to tell me that koran brought tawhid (unification), that it orders us to not bury little girls and chop the hands of thieves.

So as I said, koran does not contain any novel ideas.
