Ed, again

Ed’s back with another article. This time he is defending Maajid Nawaz, another ex-Hizb operative who worked out what a lot of Muslims did many years ago: how to use one’s brain to defeat the vacuous blatherings of the Party. For those interested, Nawaz will appear on Newsnight tonght.

Ed’s also getting tooled by the commentators as people are working out he doesn’t have anything to say. Someone close to Ed should advise him the game’s up; he’s had his fifteen minutes.

Mind you, there’s nothing wrong with knocking the feet from underneath The Party of Liberation [from Reason, Text, Faith and Heart]. Let’s see what Nawaz says tonight (or tomorrow for those of us who will watch the programme on the web).

Muslims would and should only take advice from qualified scholars of the deen, who have studied these issues thoroughly and know atleast the Arabic language if not the other sciences in Islam and give a direction for the ummah that would serve it best.

I am sorry I am not taking anything from someone like br. Ed, who is merely from the ‘awam and does not seem to serve the Muslims, but has only brought more enemies to Islam (and to himself). May Allah keep us close the learned.

As for br. Majid, may he enlighten some HT brethren, but keep his tongue in strict order so that he does not fall into the same black hole as br. Ed.

    wa Allahu a’lam.

And for those ‘tranditional’ Muslims who love to ride the same tidal wave of hate and slander against our ‘non-traditional’ brothers, should be ashamed. Stand by your brothers and do not fuel the flames of hate by joining parrots like br. Ed, just because they have the ‘same enemy’. You cause more destruction and harm than you realise, keep your silence and refrain from making holes in the ship – as it will take us all down.
