    As-Salaamu ‘alaikum,

That video is old, and the story appears to be fiction anyway. Do public schools in Spain ban hijab? The last I heard was that they don’t.

    wa’alaykum as-salam

I think the video explores more than legal status of the hijab in Spain (I didn’t realise it was illegal either).

What’s more of interest is the teacher’s assertions on ‘looking the same’, then the video cutting across to a classroom of people who are not very alike at all (and some even wearing head coverings of their own) and the confusion on the young girl’s face.

I just realised my title is misleading. Therefore, I’ve changed it.

If it is banned it is really good for the world.
Don’t give too much importance to 7th century stories.

Why is it for the “good of the world”? Are you drunk? Smoking things I gave up at university? Or perhaps you’re slow?

There are lots of videos regarding the issue of hijab as well as styles of wearing the hijab such as this one

    Have a look!

If wearing the hijab is so good then why do most people on the planet NOT wear one? Men do not want to cover themselves?

If it was so good I am sure males would soon want to wear it!!

Fact is most people on the planet don’t want to wear it and excersise their FREE choice not to.

Being so concerned for your own reward after life is a huge assumption when you consider the lack of knowledge about the world we all had only 100 years ago!

Imagine the ignorance of the real world that exsisted one or two thousand years ago!
Strange how scientists find proof of life on earth many millions of years before religion describes the start of life on earth!
No matter the religion they all like to burn fossil fuels laid down well before their religion says life exsisted.

Are we to spend our life living how people tell us when they themselves had such small knowledge of life?

It would be no less stupid as to allow a five year old to tell all how to live!

Religion has a great many deaths to answer for in the past and am sure a lot more blood will be shed due to religious beliefs!

How wonderful live would be if people treated each other with respect rather than claim rightious killing defending a belief that may not be real?

I would never die for my beliefs as I maybe wrong! My parents may have been wrong too?
What if your parents taught you about the wrong religion?
    Have you researched them all?
Would you even listen? probably not!
I think it a little arrogant to presume my religion would be correct out of all the many on the planet!

If I was going to risk spending my whole short life living a certain way I would want solid evidence of such a requirement.

As usual when proof of evolution is found the religious ones shy away from the proof.
The only proof of any god is a book written by men with self interest at heart.

To those who realy want to live according to rules laid down by uneducated heathens of many hundreds of years ago, I suggest you live in your caves and do not use the technology developed by modern men based on scientific fact you do not believe.

If you don’t like the western lifestyle don’t live there!
If you want shariah law then live in a country that has it!

Scientific proof’s have given all on the planet better standards and longer life spans!
Maybe scientists are not all correct? however their views and research are allways reproduced if true or possible and proven by others before main stream publication.

When we go to a house of god why are we told to “just believe?”
    Why cannot we question? HOW?

We are told not to question just believe? get real!

Don’t forget I maybe wrong about a god? I am sure as far as current evidence suggests there is no god!

Maybe the religious ones among us need to consider they maybe wrong also?
I think we should wait for hard evidence before we go defending or killing each other for a belief in something that has not yet been proven either way!

    Goodbye all,

    Chris.

    You’re obviously an idiot, Chris.
